Daintree Rainforest, Australia

Puerto Rico is an incredible honeymoon destination because of its beaches, rainforests, historical landmarks, warm hospitality, and delicious food! There are many places to stay in Puerto Rico, but Condado Beach in San Juan has some of the best resorts and is a true island vibe. The city of San Juan offers amazing hotel and resort options as well, along with activities that allow you to spend a whole day exploring the city. Puerto Rico is also home to the last remaining rainforests which can be amazing to explore together!

Bali, Indonesia

Bali has become a top family destination as there is a perfect mixture of beaches and culture, and there is always something to do. Bali's hotels are marvelous and they all welcome children, and there are also gorgeous villas with private pools that overlook river valleys or are surrounded by rice fields. Most hotels offer activities such as fish feeding, anti-gravity yoga, rice planting, ceramics, and local walks. Outside of hotels, though, guests can attend festivals (which seem to take place all of the time), visit the many water parks, and hike through the rice fields. The weather in Bali is warm year-round and although there are a lot of tourists every year, it never feels touristy. It retains a really calm and artsy vibe, and the food is excellent and inexpensive.

Costa Rica

Costa Rica has all the ingredients for a perfect family vacation destination: tropical climate, beaches, rainforests, lots of sightseeing possibilities, fun adventurous activities, and a large variety of wildlife. It has all you could need for any type of family vacation: a relaxing family vacation at a beautiful resort on one of its many coastal destinations, an adventurous and action-filled vacation in Costa Rica's capital, or a road trip so you can see and do it all and add some relaxing beach time. Some things that Costa Rica has to offer is the opportunities to see wildlife, get to know the culture, try some fun activities such as zip-lining or wild water rafting, and enjoy some time at a pool or beach. It's also a place that you can visit year-round and you don't have the cross through many time zones if you are coming from the United States.

Dubai

Dubai is a truly unique place to spend a family vacation as there is so much to do that it is impossible to get bored. From beaches to deserts, impressive skyscrapers, and sensational attractions for the whole family to enjoy! Some of the amazing things you can do here are visit the world's tallest building, ride a camel in the desert, spend time at one of the many theme parks, or go swimming at some of the world's most impressive water parks. The weather in Dubai is always warm, but can be almost be too hot in the summer months making it the perfect place to travel to in the off-season. It's home to multiple cultures for families to get in touch with and their cuisines with middle-eastern touches are absolutely delicious.

Rovaniemi, Finland

Rovaniemi is the perfect vacation for families with little ones as this is where the real Santa lives. This small village is where letters that are written and sent to Santa are sent. Families can spend their time here playing with the elves in the forest, decorating trees, baking cookies, and learning Santa's secrets. When they are outside of Santa's village, families can spend their days riding husky sleds through a winter wonderland, taking a reindeer sleigh through the forest, opt for a snowmobile safari that also visits reindeer and huskies, or go snow tubing down giant hills and through ice caves. While staying here, you may even be able to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights.

Portugal

Central Portugal has become a popular family vacation destinations because of its laid-back vibe, incredible food, culture, and gorgeous scenery. For families who are adventurous, there are activities like cycling, hiking, and kayaking; but also opportunities to explore old villages up the mountains, sunny beaches, paradise islands, and forested hills. Portugal is also a great place for families who love history as there is a ton of preserved history there. You can find medieval city walls, Moorish castles, Roman bridges, and romantic palaces. The Portuguese love children and welcome all guests to their home with genuine smiles and warm hospitality.

Big Island, Hawaii

Hawaii is such a special place to visit, but the black sand beaches make the Big Island of Hawaii so unique. Making the Big Island a great place for families to visit is the opportunity to rent a car, drive around, and enjoy something new everyday. On the Big Island, you can swim with sea turtles, stay at beautiful resorts, enjoy a luau, go whale watching and snorkeling, hike to waterfalls, visit a volcano, and even sail in a submarine. It is definitely a destination for adventurous families and it is impossible to get bored. The Big Island has a relatively small population, allowing it to be one of the less crowded islands, and the weather there is sunny and warm year-round.

Florida Keys

While most people think of Orlando when wanting to visit Florida, those who are looking for a more relaxing part of the state should seriously consider the Florida Keys, specifically Marathon. Kids, especially those who are too young to experience more adventurous water activities, will love the more calm and natural pursuits that Marathon has to offer. All members of the family can enjoy a nature scavenger hunt, swimming with fish, and meeting rescued birds at the Wild Bird Sanctuary. Marathon also makes an excellent vacation spot due to its closeness to the other Key islands such as Key West and Islamorada.

Disney World

While Orlando can be crowded and a vacation there is not always relaxing, it is truly a magical destination for a family vacation as it is home to Walt Disney World. Disney World allows little ones to see and interact with their favorite Disney characters in real life, while it also offers families parades, live shows, meet-and-greets, rides, and delicious snacks and meals. All four parks are extremely immersive and detailed, and are designed for all guests to feel as if they are apart of all the magic they see on the big screens. At Disney there are tons of uniquely themed resorts to accommodate guests, where they are also offered free transportation to and from the parks everyday. And for those who want to travel the world, but have never gotten the opportunity to, Disney World's Epcot can offer you a small glimpse into many different countries with their World Showcase section of the park. Epcot also hosts many festivals where families can eat and drink around the world!
